Description
AHCC 500MG 60 CAP AOR
What Is It?
Active hexose correlated compound (AHCC) is an oligosaccharide extracted from mushrooms. It was developed in Japan in 1989, and it has since been used to improve the immunity of over 100,000 patients and has been studied in over 50 human clinical trials.
What Does It Do?
Primary Uses: AHCC stimulates the immune system. Oral supplementation with AHCC increases the production of macrophages, T-cells, natural killer (NK) cells and improves their ability to destroy abnormal cells. Immune cells are important for health in general but are specifically involved with the control of infection and healthy cell growth. AHCC has shown promise for boosting immune function, reducing infections, promoting healthy blood pressure, reducing inflammation, improving the body’s response to stress, and more. It has also been found to increase the efficacy of certain chemotherapy treatments while reducing the frequency of side effects. Patients taking AHCC reported less nausea, vomiting and hair loss and AHCC improved their body weight and appetite during chemotherapy.
Who Should Take It?
Those with compromised immune function, who have infections and patients undergoing certain types of chemotherapy, could benefit from AOR’s AHCC
